As the VariBlast system uses only a fraction of blast media that traditional grit blasting methods use, we can often operate on site with little risk of disturbance or contamination. This service has already proven beneficial to a wide variety of industries and clients and we are always prepared to carry out a trial or test to prove how well the system performs.
Our systems effectively operate up to a distance of 100 metres, from operator to machine, with a distance of 60 plus metres vertically, making the removal of graffiti or grime from such structures as buildings, bridges and underpasses easy for us to access.
The equipment used within our services are suitable for the removal of paints, varnishes, tar, grease, grime, rust, algae, smoke damage and even road line markings with the greatest of ease, and minimal disturbance to the surrounding environment.
VariBlast uses the patented Farrow System low pressure wet blast cleaning method
The table below demonstrates the benefits of using the patented Farrow System over conventional shot or sand blasters and chemical applications.
Shot/sand blaster air pressure at nozzle is 1,500+ psi
Shot/sand blasting average 300kg of blast media per 30 minutes of continuous working
Shot/sand blaster has 2 operators and takes 30 minutes to set up
Shot/sand blaster must be used in contained areas only
Shot/sand blasters use dry media alone allowing for the spread of airborne dust particles
Pressure washer systems require a large/mains supply of water, making them less mobile
Shot/sand blasters and pressure washer systems are mostly use externally with days of preparation needed if to be used internally
Shot/sand blasters and pressure washer systems mostly only have one setting making them unsuitable for all jobs
